Allana was selected to represent Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but later knee injuries forced her on the sidelines. It took several years to Allana to re-enter playing in the league. Allana participated in her first female soccer match in 2015 and starred in the game for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her game, performing regularly with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos player and a qualified teacher out of the sport arena, has represented Australia three times in the sport of touch football, as well as rugby league as well the rugby sevens. Ferguson aged 25 already, had tears in the same ligaments when she was 15, 17 and 20, and the fourth tear was a sign that her playing days were over.
