Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English singer and songwriter who was born on August 22 1995, in London United Kingdom. Following her stint as a model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album climbed up to the third position on the U.K. Chart for Albums. Eight singles were released and included Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). The album also climbed to number 6 on the charts in the United States. Lipa is the recipient of Brit Awards in 2018 for category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. In addition, her platinum-certified album is a coveted honor across multiple countries. Future Nostalgia Lipa released her second studio record in 2020. It is also possible to trace her ancestral roots through Peja within Kosovo. Lipa's grandfathers are both historians. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father, who was the lead singer and guitarist of Oda, the Kosovan rock band Oda.
